Welcome to Easy Crochet Charts. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Easy Crochet Charts website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by the creator of Easy Crochet Charts ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Easy Crochet Charts is an online tool for designing crochet pattern charts using symbolic notation on a customisable grid. Charts you create are stored privately and tied to your account.
To save charts you must create an account using either Google Sign-In or an email + password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
New accounts include a 7-day free trial with full design access and up to three chart exports. After the trial ends, continued use of the Service (including further exports and access to your saved charts) requires an active paid subscription.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (currently £29 per year) through our payment processor, Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time via the account or Contact page; cancellation stops future renewals but does not end your current billing period.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Charts and other content you create through the Service ("Your Content") remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, back up, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell or share Your Content with third parties.
You agree not to:
We strive to keep the Service available and error-free, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
You may close your account at any time via the Contact page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination we will retain your data for a short window in case of accidental deletion, then permanently delete it.
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months prior to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
